Introduction
Reel Audio Instruments takes the privacy of your personal data very seriously, in strict compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legislation. You will only be asked to divulge information that is absolutely necessary to use our services or the products. Under no circumstances will your personal data be sold or otherwise passed on to third parties.
Information processing
The website automatically collects and stores information transmitted by your internet browser. Including:
- Browser type, version
- Operating system
- URL of the referrer (previously visited webpage)
- IP address of the computer
- Date and time of the server request
This data is anonymous, it cannot be linked to a specific person, and is not processed together with data from other sources. This data is used only for internal statistics and is periodically deleted from the servers.
Purchasing
Your credit card or other payment details are never stored by us, all payments are processed by a third party PCI compliant service. After completing the order, we will collect some of the data, including:
- Full name
- Email address
- Licences purchased
- Date and time of the order
This data is required in order to generate your unique software licence file, without which the software will operate in “demonstration” mode.
Desktop Software
The software may connect to the internet for operational reasons, but will never collect or transmit personal usage data of any kind, whether anonymous or identified.
Newsletter
We use our newsletter to send news about updates, upcoming products and promotions. To receive our newsletter we need a valid email address as well as information allowing us to check that the owner of that email address actually wishes to receive the newsletter. Any other information requested for the newsletter is optional (e.g. first and last name). Permission to store this data, including the email address used to send the newsletter, can be withdrawn at any time.
Your subscription is managed by MailerLite, and in using this service we adhere to their Terms of Service. You can change your mind at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive from us, or by contacting support directly.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking or analytics cookies of any kind. However, strictly functional cookies are required when buying products in order for the online checkout to work properly. These cookies are tiny files that are downloaded to your computer and are automatically deleted when you leave the website. Cookies can not damage your computer, nor do they contain malware.

You have the right to demand access to your personal data at any time, including origin, recipient and the use(s) to which your data has been put.
